Fired 350 rounds today
 

My son in law and I shot a box(50) of rounds thought the 38 revolver today.
He's a pretty good shot.
Then I we switched to the Ruger 10/22 rifle and my grandson joined us.
He is 10. and I was totally surprised at what a good shot he was!
He had never shot a 22 before only bb guns. He did real good.
My wife and my stepdaughter soon joined in on the fun.
We must have printed at least 40 targets.
Turns out my stepdaughter is a good shot too.
All the while my wife and i were teaching them to be safe.
We all had a lot of fun. and we all can't wait to do it again.
Next time I'm gonna print the targets that have points on them and its Competition time!
Afterward we all had pizza and the SIL and i had beer. Good times

Under $20 bucks as long as they were shooting something along the lines of American Eagle 38 and not high end carry ammo.

Nothing better IMO than a day propelling lead projectiles into paper (or other target of choice). Sounds like you had a good time Stacker.

My daughter loves shooting her 10/22... she wants to go shooting every weekend!

As for the young'uns being good shots - my GF's sons went out with me one weekend having never shot anything but BB guns - I handed the youngest one my 870 and threw him five clays...

...powdered all 5 of them. :applause_

Took to my bigger caliber rifles straight away... I was amazed at how well they could shoot.

I just got done cleaning the guns ( i had forgotten)

I love the smell of the cleaning solvent!
Am I weird?

I think it reminds me of the days I used to go hunting with my Grandpa.
We would come back and clean the quail and rabbits and while my grandma cooked em we would clean the shotguns. :s1:

You're kidding right? My wife loves the smell of Hoppes in the afternoon because it means we've been shooing all morning.

sounds like a blast, stacker!
my wife is wanting to work on her aim this summer.
I can't wait till my kiddos are old enough to introduce to a .22!
